Chief Data Center Officer

Based in Austin, TX, Cameron brings more than 20 years of experience to Element Critical as Chief Data Center Officer (CDCO). Cameron is a distinguished data center expert and business leader with extensive experience leading infrastructure operations and engineering teams at data center companies.

As CDCO of Element Critical, Cameron leads all Element Critical data centers’ design, construction, and operation. Cameron’s experience building and operating high-performance data center solutions will empower and accelerate growth, expanding Element Critical’s colocation footprint in current and future markets.

Preceding this role at Element Critical, Cameron served as Senior Technical Program Manager at Google, a global technology company supporting worldwide internet products with a diverse data center portfolio. He was also the Chief Operating Officer at Data Foundry, a premier colocation data center provider that Switch acquired in May 2021.

Over his career, Cameron has achieved high client satisfaction through operational excellence, cross-functional team management, and continual process refinement. His leadership was instrumental in driving ingenuity in the most demanding mission-critical environments while master-planning the development of over 250 MW of critical data center capacity in active and greenfield projects.
