Chief Data Center Officer

Based in Austin, Texas, Cameron brings 20 years of hands-on, mission-critical facilities operations experience and 15+ years of data center design and construction experience to Element Critical.


A distinguished data center expert and business leader, Cameron Wynne amassed extensive experience leading operations and engineering as Chief Operating Officer at Data Foundry, Inc., and most recently, as Senior Technical Program Manager at Google.  Cameron excels in achieving high client satisfaction through operational excellence, cross-functional team management, and continual process refinement.  His leadership was instrumental in driving ingenuity in the most demanding mission-critical environments while master-planning the development of over 250 MW of critical data center capacity, in both active and greenfield projects.

In this role, Cameron Wynne will lead the design, construction, and operation of all Element Critical data centers.  Wynne’s experience building and operating high-performance data center solutions will empower and accelerate our colocation footprint in the current and future markets.  “Element Critical is laser-focused on expanding our platform and unifying our approach to delivering best-in-class customer care for our valued customers.  I am honored to work with the Element Critical team to support our customer’s evolving IT infrastructure needs upon our solid foundation.”

Cameron Wynne graduated from the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and minored in Spanish and Classics.  He is also an accomplished Eagle Scout.
