Data Center Veteran to Play Key Role in Element Critical’s National Expansion Strategy
TYSONS, VA — (June 5, 2018) – Element Critical, a leading provider of tailored data center and IT infrastructure services backed by solutions engineering expertise, today announced the appointment of Michael Frank as Vice President of Product Management.
Reporting to Ken Parent, Element Critical’s CEO, Frank will oversee the product management of strategic data center facilities as part of Element Critical’s expansion strategy. This includes strategic planning and analysis, acquisitions, business and product development, and portfolio management supporting Element Critical’s expanding national platform of data centers to ensure all products and services provide secure, flexible and scalable colocation and hybrid cloud IT infrastructure.

Frank comes to Element Critical with more than 20 years of experience in developing and supporting Internet products and services, the last 15 of which were focused on colocation and data center services.
Prior to joining Element Critical, Frank served for 10 years as Vice President of Data Center Services with Internap Corporation. In this role, he oversaw the global portfolio of data centers in the US, Europe and Asia, including build outs of more than 350K square feet of new data center facilities, which coupled with new global services provider partnerships, enabled the business to grow to more than 125 megawatts and 1 million square feet of capacity under management. During his time at Internap, Frank also managed business development, acquisitions, and data center operations.
Prior to joining Internap, Frank spent several years with BellSouth Corporation (now AT&T), supporting their e-Data Center, hosting and Internet service lines of business.
He holds degrees from Nova Southeastern University, North Carolina State University and is licensed to practice law in the state of Georgia.
